Falling out of grace with the world
They say I’ve lost my midas touch what turned to gold now turns to rust
Falling out of stars that line with the sky
Falling out of style with the current way things are now
The things that make conforming so hard
Falling out of control and you can’t just stop me now
I’m out here way beyond
A shadow of a doubt
Was made to be independently strong.
The leaves are hustling, the crickets are crickling in the dark, the breeze is too cold for me to take, out in this lonely stop for the lonely people, where the seats are formed in a way that only the lonely hearts feel one another.
I sit here, waiting for the lonely people to be out when the sun has set, trying to find the leading stars and the moon, but it was all nowhere to be found.
Someday...
all I ever want was to be found, for once
